Promax Pogo Pin Announces Participation in electronica 2026 Munich

Gary, IN 46402, United States, 20th Aug 2026 – Promax Pogo Pin, a prominent manufacturer of pogo pins, spring-loaded connectors and magnetic connectors, has confirmed that the company will exhibit at electronica, the international trade fair for electronic components, systems and applications, which is scheduled to run from 10 to 13 November at the Messe München exhibition centre in Munich, Germany. The company will occupy Booth 561/2 in Hall A3. The confirmation places the Indiana-based connector supplier among the exhibitors attending the biennial event, which draws component manufacturers, distributors and design engineers from across the electronics sector.

The trade fair has been held in Munich since 1964 and takes place every second year across the Messe München fairgrounds. The most recent edition attracted approximately 80,000 visitors and more than 3,000 exhibiting companies, with attendance recorded from around 90 countries. Exhibit categories span semiconductors, sensors, embedded systems, power electronics, measurement technology and electromechanical components, the last of which covers the connector segment in which Promax Pogo Pin operates. An accompanying conference programme runs alongside the exhibition halls and addresses technical and regulatory developments affecting component specification.

Promax Pogo Pin has indicated that its display will cover five product categories: pogo pins, pogo pin connectors, magnetic connectors, magnetic cable connectors and test probes. Both standard catalogue items and custom-configured assemblies are scheduled to be shown. Technical material prepared for the stand is expected to cover plating specifications, contact force ranges, current-carrying capacity and cycle life data, alongside documentation on tolerance control and testing procedures. The company has stated that sample components will be available for inspection so that visiting engineers can assess mechanical characteristics directly rather than relying on printed specifications alone.

“Exhibiting in Munich provides a direct route to engineers who specify connector components at the earliest stages of a design programme,” said Gavin, Manager of Promax Pogo Pin. “Much of the detail that determines whether a pogo pin is suitable for an application, including plating selection, contact force, travel distance and expected cycle life, is more easily worked through in conversation than in a datasheet, and a four-day exhibition brings a large number of those discussions into a single location.”

The company manufactures connector components for applications in consumer electronics, aerospace and medical devices, and has operated in the sector for more than 15 years. Its production covers both catalogue items and connectors built to customer drawings, with configuration variables including pin diameter, stroke length, contact material and mounting format. Manufacturing is carried out to internationally recognised quality standards, and the company maintains documented inspection procedures for dimensional accuracy and electrical performance.

Demand for spring-loaded and magnetic connectors has been shaped in recent years by the growth of portable and wearable devices, docking systems and battery-powered equipment requiring repeated connection cycles without threaded fasteners. Medical instrumentation has presented a parallel set of requirements, particularly where components must tolerate repeated cleaning or sterilisation. European original equipment manufacturers represent a substantial portion of activity in these segments, and trade exhibitions have remained a common channel through which component suppliers establish contact with distributors and contract manufacturers operating in the region.

Preparation for the November exhibition is scheduled to run across the intervening months and includes assembly of a sample range, translation of technical documentation and coordination of meeting schedules with existing contacts and prospective customers. Company representatives will be present throughout the four days of the event to respond to technical enquiries, with the stand staffed from 9am to 6pm from Tuesday to Thursday and from 9am to 3pm on the closing Friday. Meetings with technical and sales personnel can be arranged in advance through the company’s event page, and the stand will also accommodate product demonstrations and consultations on custom configurations.

“Preparation between now and November will concentrate on assembling a representative sample range and supporting technical documentation for the stand,” said Gavin. “The intention is that discussions held in Munich will inform product development priorities over the following year, particularly in relation to higher-current designs and connectors intended for sealed or frequently cleaned environments.”

Promax Pogo Pin is a connector manufacturer based in Gary, Indiana, producing pogo pins, spring-loaded connectors, magnetic connector assemblies and test probes for customers in the consumer electronics, aerospace and medical sectors. The company supplies both standard components and connectors manufactured to customer specifications, and works with clients on design, prototyping and volume production. Participation in the Munich exhibition forms part of the company’s ongoing engagement with international component markets and follows continued interest in spring-loaded connector technology from manufacturers outside North America.
